Background:	DRB4 is a nuclear dsRNA-binding protein DRB4 that interacts specifically with DCL4. It may regulate DCL4 function and thereby affect miRNA biogenesis and also has an impact on polymerase IV-dependent siRNA levels. DRB4 interacts with the P6 viral protein from Cauliflower mosaic virus and may be a target of viral silencing suppression.
